Wow, this is the longest I’ve gone without posting in over a month. As you can see, I put up a new layout on Friday night but I haven’t really had time to fully finish the sidebars & widgets and what not, so I’ll do that eventually. I like it how it is for now, so I might not even change it at all. Let me know if you find anything that isn’t working right or looks weird and I’ll be sure to fix it 
Yesterday, I spent the day with my family at my grandparents new cottage. We left the house at like 8:15 (and I didn’t get to sleep until like 5 that morning, because I just couldn’t sleep.. fun) in the morning to go to wal mart to pick some stuff up before (I got Season 5 of the office on sale, woo~) and then we were there by 11ish. There’s a beach right by it, and I took some pictures but I can’t find my camera cord ANYWHERE so I can’t upload them, so my sister & I were there for a bit, but other than that we just chilled around the cottage. It’s small, and really nice 
My mom’s aunt & uncle & their foster baby Sophie ended up coming too. No one knew they were, and they didn’t really know where it was.. so they spent half an hour driving around and around looking and we kept seeing them pass. My mom said ‘Hey, that looks like Auntie Shirley’ (my grandma’s younger sister) and then a few minutes later when the van was going the other way, she said ‘Hey, that looks like Uncle John’ (my grandma’s youngest sisters husband), and then said she hoped it wasn’t Auntie Marg, and she just mistook her for Auntie Shirley (their family has drama; they don’t talk to her as much I don’t think? the rest of the 4 sisters are close though). Turns out, it was & they eventually found the place. Some of my grandparent’s friends stopped by a little after that, so we ended up leaving later than planned.
We went back to the trailer (it was closer than home) at around 7:30, and then I had some ice cream & my little cousins came by. There’s a kitten at the trailer, and it’s been there for a few weeks. My mom bought it food and it always stays when them when they’re there, but the other times I’ve went to see it, it was never there. I want them to bring it home (and my mom said she probably will in the fall, once the season is over & we can’t go back all winter), but they aren’t letting it come home.. yet. So I finally got to see it last night, and it’s the cutesttttt little thing 
It’s so tiny, but it has a huge belly & looks like it’s pregnant. I wouldn’t be surprised, since it’s a stray cat but I don’t know if that would help in my parents bringing it home, or just make them say not a chance. Because my mom says that she doesn’t know how well Cookie (my cat at home) will like a new cat, so I don’t think she would like multiple new cats. We used to have another one, but he ran away (my mom says that Cookie scared him off), but they had kittens awhile before that but we eventually had to give them away (we rent our house, so we’re not technically allowed pets). Either way, I WANT THAT KITTYYYY!
Today I worked, and then went to Wal Mart with my sister & bought some food, came home and then checked on some things online & just watched some One Tree Hill for a few hours. I’m honestly not in the mood to do anything else. Tomorrow, my parents & sister & I are going to Niagara Falls to go shopping & hopefully get to see the falls. Wednesday I have registration for school & then work, and hopefully Thursday I’ll be hanging out with my friends as they all start leaving this weekend. It really sucks :(

So tired.

I’m so tired. I got up at 9am yesterday so that I could have some time before work to do my design of the day, catch up on comments and do some random things online. I didn’t go to work until 1, but I also wanted to actually be awake and not just groggy for going to work.
I didn’t even come home after work though.. I was working with my best friend Taylor, and then we went to her house after to change (and watch Baby High and an old episode of Life Unexpected) and then went to Fatima’s house for a sleepover. It was the first time since prom that ALL of my friends were together, and not only some of us hanging out and others working. It was only Me, Taylor, Saloni & Fatima that were at the sleepover, but it was still fun. We had pizza & just talked for the night, and then after everyone who wasn’t sleeping over left, we ended up staying up until 5am just talking about random things. I missed our girl talks like that, and it really sucks that starting Sunday, every one is leaving for University/College.
Last night was probably the last time I’ll see Nicole, because she spent the whole summer working and if she was free, she’d be with her girlfriend. If we asked her to hang out, she’d say she was ‘toiletry shopping with her grandma’, and then there would be pictures on facebook that same day of her, her girlfriend + a friend shopping together. It’s like okay, I get you want to see your girlfriend… but just TELL US THAT, you don’t have to lie about it :/ Whatever though, if she doesn’t want to make the effort to see us, then I guess she isn’t as good of a friend as I thought she was. We all kind of gave up putting in the effort, because we would ALL ask her to hang out, and she’d just make up excuses as to why she couldn’t, but then get mad at us if we said we couldn’t hang out one night because of work and such. Oh well.
When we got up this morning, we went to a restaurant called Cora’s for breakfast. We usually go to Troy’s, but we decided to try something different. Troy’s is waaaay better. The service was alright, but the food was kinda expensive, and they didn’t have much that I wanted. Most of the dishes just came with ‘a mountain of fruit’ which made it all more expensive, and most had strawberries which I’m allergic to. Not to mention, the only fruit they had that I liked was grapes, oranges & apples. The rest were random berries and such that I don’t like. So I just had eggs, toast & sausage, but the eggs were really gooey and the sausage tasted weird :/ Not to mention the eggs were cold after like five minutes. We didn’t have to wait that long for food, but once we were done eating, we were waiting for like half an hour for them to bring the bill/clear the plates and such, and then they never told us we had to go up to pay, so we were waiting longer until we just went and found someone. It was kinda annoying, so from now on.. I think I’ll stick to Troy’s.
I’m almost done the new layout. I figured out how to make the sidebars work, I just need to get the CSS coding finished because I feel like there’s too much of one colour on it right now. I’d show an example, but I want it to be a surprise. Maybe I’ll get one person to give me their opinion of it… Today, I also got a paypal payment from Bloggerwave for $4 because of a post I made about a month ago. I like that you don’t have to wait until you get to a certain amount, because now I have more towards my hosting. I also loved that PayPal didn’t take off a fee, so I got the full $4 and not like $3.26 or anything weird like that. That’s more than a months worth of hosting, so it’s pretty cool. I’m about $20 away from the payout at PayPerPost, but I might just wait until the two posts I have waiting get approved (which is in like.. 20 days) and then if I don’t get any more offers by the time the two ones waiting get confirmed, I’ll just cash out and not worry about the $2 fee for cashing out under $50. But then again, I don’t really NEED the money as I still have more than enough for the next five months hosting in my paypal, so I could just wait. Meh, I’ll decide when the time comes.
I also had a lovely phone conversation with my co-op teacher today. I’ll start co-op once I go back to school (registration is next week D: grr), so she was calling to check up on what I want to do so she can find places and such. We talked about three possible places I could go: a design + copy center, the newspaper center for the layout design, or a photography place where they edit photos and such. I’m excited for co-op, even if the teacher is a bit psycho and everyone hates her. When my sister did co-op, she asked to get put at a bank or tv station, and she got put at a flower store simply because the teacher “thought she looked like she’d like it”. She did like the people there, but it had nothing to do with anything that she wants to do so it was kind of a waste of time. I’m not going to do co-op if it’s not for something I want to do with my life, that’s the whole point of it…
Oh, and I did find out what that secret was. It so wasn’t what I had in mind, and I don’t know if I was disappointed by that or not.

Online Shopping

In my house, we have MANY remote controls. There’s some for TV’s, DVD players, portable DVD players, stereos and many remotes from things we don’t even use anymore, like old TV’s. Even though we have so many though, you can only seem to find the right one when you AREN’T looking for it. When you don’t need them, they’re all over the place.. but when you need one, good luck finding it. Generally, when my Dad can’t find one, he’ll tear the house apart & then just want to go and buy a new one. Maybe that’s why we get so many. I think we need a universal remote or something to control EVERYTHING, but at the same time that would get annoying because then it might turn on two things at once. We already have one remote that works for two TVs that we have in the same room (we never use the one), and if you try to turn one off.. that other one turns on.
I’ve been looking for some new headphones, so I’ve been doing some online shopping to see if I can find any cheap ones. I came across Become Online Shopping, and so far I’ve found so many things that I’ve wanted to buy. I’ve had to refrain from buying though as I need to save my paypal money for hosting, but there are just so many things you can buy, from jewelry to books and baby clothes to laptops. There’s so many electronics and such that I want to buy, so I’ll have to wait until payday and see what I might buy. Be sure to check out Become, as they’ve got great things for great prices.
Does anyone do most of their shopping online? I tend to do more of my shopping in stores as shipping can be expensive, but I know that when I’m older and working more, online shopping will be a huge relief as it would be so much easier.

Secrets

I hate secrets. And surprises. I have to be the worlds most impatient person, so when someone says “I have something to tell you, but I’m not going to until later this week” it drives me insane. I mean, I like surprises if they don’t tell me at ALL, and I have no idea what it is.. but otherwise, the curiosity gets the better of me and I just wonder and wonder and WONDER what the hell is going on. I’ll apparently find out tomorrow, or the day after.. but I don’t wanna wait that long! Stupid people keeping secrets. I have so many ideas in my head of what it could be, but I know that they’re all probably bizarre and so far from what it actually is.
I haven’t done much lately. I miss the 30 day challenge so I had a specific topic to talk about. My life is too borrrrrrrring on it’s own. Today I went out for lunch with Taylor & Fatima, to East Side Marios because you can get unlimited bread, soup/salad with your pasta. Plus desert, for like $16 so it’s pretty good. It’s gooood food too. After that, we just chilled & watched away we go. It was a weird movie, though it was cute. It wasn’t EPICLY AMAZING but it wasn’t terrible. Average, I guess 
In other news, a few weeks ago I posted about not liking Adam Lambert, and how I judged all of the songs without listening. Last night, I actually downloaded a few more of his songs that weren’t too bad. I downloaded Voodoo, If I had you, Time for miracles & Broken Open. If anyone has any more song suggestions, from any artists you’d think I’d like.. let me know I’ve been looking for new music lately
I’m still working on the new layout. I can’t get the sidebars to align right so I may have to look into a different way of coding :( Hopefully it’ll be up soon though! This was a super lame post, but I just thought I’d let you all know that I’m still alive.
