I haven’t been able to sleep lately. I’m not sure why, but hopefully once I get back into the routine of school (I go back tomorrow, sigh) my sleeping will just figure itself out. Especially since I have to be up for 6am on Wednesday, to be at school for 8. Yay. When I can’t fall asleep, I’ve been spending my time browsing the internet. Lately, I’ve been looking for ways to earn money considering I want to move to Nashville one day.
I was talking with my family about what we’d do if we won Cash For Life, a scratch ticket where you win $1000 a week for life (though it’s actually only for 25 years). I said that I would move to Nashville, since I wouldn’t be able to work anyways. Talking about scratch tickets and gambling lead me to Pokerseeker.com. Pokerseeker is a site that helps you find the best poker places, both online and offline! If you’re looking to go on vacation to somewhere that has excellent poker tables, Pokerseeker has it covered. If you’re looking for new online poker games, Pokerseeker should be your first stop. I myself have never actually played online poker for money, but if I was as good for money online as I was for fun- I could probably make a good chunk of money. Nothing compared to my mom though, so I’ll have to let her know about Pokerseeker as well! If you’re looking for any poker needs, be sure to check out Pokerseeker!

I Love America

Don’t get me wrong, I love Canada too. I’m proud to be Canadian where we have our healthcare and everything else that we have, but I really love the states. For my dad’s birthday yesterday we went over to Niagara Falls, NY to go to Wal-Mart and Target, as well as a mall that was right beside Wal-Mart. Everything is SO MUCH cheaper over the border, from milk to clothing and just everything. Milk here is around $5, while it was $1.88 for the same amount at Wal-Mart in the states. McDonalds is way cheaper, as is Subway. And don’t even get me started on how much I just LOVED Georgia when we passed through last year while going to Florida.
At the end of February (during my reading week), my parents and I are driving down to Nashville, TN. Of course I’m excited about this seeing as it’s basically the country music capitol and because I’ll be able to shop at multiple Wet Seal locations (my FAVOURITE store, sadly it’s only in the states). I know that I’m going to love it there, and depending on how much… I seriously want to move there one day.
Maybe not Nashville, perhaps Georgia or another southern state- but I DO want to move to the states. Probably not permanently, as the process will probably be rather difficult, but I want to spend some of my life living there. I’ve been thinking a lot bout it lately, and my plan at the moment is to keep saving up until after school is finished (and probably until after I’m 21). Once I have (quite) a few thousand dollars, I’ll look into some places to stay for 4-6 months, since as a Canadian I can stay there for 6 months and just not work. So I’ll take those six months off using the money I saved up, though I’ll probably go insane without having anything to do. Or I’ll look into getting a work Visa, I’m not sure yet. But I do want to move SOMEWHERE in the states at some point, and I’m pretty excited about it.
