No Time

I’m alive, I promise. I’m just writing this quick blog because I have to leave soon, and I’ve barely been home at all today to do it at any other time.

Monday I went to Niagara Falls with my family, though I didn’t end up getting to see the falls (again -_-) because my parents didn’t want to go shopping, so they went while we were shopping. I got a cute new dress for the first day of school (next tuesday, yay..) & a nail set to keep in my purse because I’ve always wanted one, along with an eyelash curler just because I needed something else for buy one get one 50% off that they had.

While we were in Niagara Falls, we saw bus stop signs & billboards that had my cousin on them (well, my dad’s cousin’s daughter.. so my second cousin? maybe?) because she recently did modeling, and did a photo shoot for back to school for a mall near Niagara Falls. It was cool to see, but it BARELY looked her. Oh well, it was still pretty cool :P

Yesterday, I didn’t do much. I had to go on a nice adventure with my friend Taylor to Burlington (about 30 mins away from my town) because I needed to pick up a prescription (that my parents don’t know about) by today (wednesday), but I was working all of the hours that the clinic was open, and it’s only open on Wednesdays so they said I’d have to go to the one in Burlington. So Taylor offered to drive me ’cause she’s awesome, so we have a nice adventure.

Today, I had to go to school to register for next semester, even though I only have three classes. I had to wait in an almost two hour line up, in a sweaty hot gym because our school is too ghetto to afford air conditioning. Then we had to get lockers and shiz, and I had to go to work at 1 so my friend & I went to Subway, and then I went to work until 5.

Now I’m home for a bit, but I’m leaving soon to go to Saloni’s house for a sleepover as after this, everyone starts leaving. Nicole left today (we were all told by her that she was leaving sunday, but then I saw her at registration), Inayat leaves Friday, Serena + Saloni leave Saturday, Fatima leaves on Monday and then it’s just Me, Taylor & Melissa left.. but we’ll all be working and I’ll be schooling this semester, and Taylor next. So it’s kinda sad that we’ll all be parting ways, but I figure if the friendship is really strong enough, it’ll last past this. I know for a fact Taylor and I will remain friends, as we work together + live close. I told Inayat I’d keep her updated on my life via long ass facebook messages, and I’ll probably do the same with Fatima as I’ve always told her all stories I had about David or whatever, because she lives vicariously though me (haha).

So now, I need to change and then get ready to go to Saloni’s. I hope you’re all having a good week so far <3

It is good that you think you can stay in touch with your friends. I have a couple of friends too whom I stay in touch with long long messages on facebook. It is cute meeting her and feeling that nothing has really changed.
Have fun at the sleepover. My parents won’t let me have one until I’,m 30, probably.

I have had a crappy week this far, lol.

Oh, in our public library, there are Hindi books full of old classical novels. Gah.

I’m gearing up for the football so I am excited. And guess whose coming with me? M. I know, I know, life is weird. But we both love football and we both follow the same team :-D YAY!! So pumped for it.

When I was at Uni, none of my friends moved away, we all chose schools in our area. Mine was 30 mins from home. My sister decided when she went to Uni to go to one outside of our area. She said it was the best thing she did. New place, new people.

Taylor sounds like a great friend :-) And how ironic, you love Taylor Swift and her name is Taylor :D

I’ve never been to Niagara Falls, but I’ve always wanted to go. I honestly don’t see the sense in going around the area, but you decide not to see it; maybe you’ll get to see it next time? :D

That’s cool that you seen your cousin; none of my relatives have never done anything remotely interesting (that I’m aware of). If you look at most models in real life, they almost rarely look like that after a photo shoot. I blame Photoshop; people depend on it too much to make them look “pretty”.

Talk about stressful. Why is it that almost NO school has air conditioning?! I bet they do, they just wanted to save a few extra bucks. Plus it was just orientation/registration day anyways, so why should they care? >:U That’s how I see it anyway.

That sucks that all your friends are leaving, but I’m sure you’ll see them again in the future. Plus with technology nowadays, there’s no reason why you can’t keep in touch.

Also, how is Eat Pray Love? O: I had meant to read it several months ago (before I found out they turned it into a movie), but I kind of forgot about it.

Well the ‘knife’ thing happened a couple months ago. Basically, I went out to buy formula and asked Andrew to watch Seth. He agreed to and I went on my way. When I came back, I saw Seth holding a knife in his hand (Andrew had been eating and left his plate and utensils within Seth’s reach -_-) and I got there RIGHT as he was trying to put the sharp end in his mouth. I was so pissed off, and all Andrew could say was “Oh crap. Sorry.” >_>

I don’t know what I’m going to do but I’ll always make sure Seth is taken care of, I don’t care what I have to do.

That really sucks you didn’t get to see the Niagara Falls =/ I would have been really upset if my folks had gone with out me. Ah well, atleast you got a cute dress, nail set, and an eyelash curlier :) I love eyeylash curliers, they really make your eyes pop! Wow, seeing family members on billboards must be awesome and shocking. If that happened to me, I’d be telling everyone that walks by “you see that girl on the billboard?! I totally KNOW that chick. Seriously!” LOL. Congrats to her though, that’s cool.

It always sucks when friends have to part ways :( Atleast you had great times with them, and I hope you can stay in contact with them. It’s hard but doable.

I love to go to Niagara Falls, but I doubt I will ever get to, haha. That would be awesome to have someone in the family that was a model or something that had a picture up somewhere… unless I didn’t like the said family member, then I’d probably hate that they were successful enough to get that which is horrible of me, but whatever.

Sounds like you are all kinds of busy as of late. It’s hard keeping in touch with friends after graduation. Most of my friends and I said we would still hang out and stuff, but we never really did. My friend Sherry and I hung out more this past year than we have since we graduated in 2004. Before last year we hung out like maybe once or twice since graduating. Now, she lives in Pennsylvania though so I don’t get to see her anymore and I’m in Vancouver so it doesn’t help.
