Online Poker

I haven’t been able to sleep lately. I’m not sure why, but hopefully once I get back into the routine of school (I go back tomorrow, sigh) my sleeping will just figure itself out. Especially since I have to be up for 6am on Wednesday, to be at school for 8. Yay. When I can’t fall asleep, I’ve been spending my time browsing the internet. Lately, I’ve been looking for ways to earn money considering I want to move to Nashville one day.

I was talking with my family about what we’d do if we won Cash For Life, a scratch ticket where you win $1000 a week for life (though it’s actually only for 25 years). I said that I would move to Nashville, since I wouldn’t be able to work anyways. Talking about scratch tickets and gambling lead me to Pokerseeker.com. Pokerseeker is a site that helps you find the best poker places, both online and offline! If you’re looking to go on vacation to somewhere that has excellent poker tables, Pokerseeker has it covered. If you’re looking for new online poker games, Pokerseeker should be your first stop. I myself have never actually played online poker for money, but if I was as good for money online as I was for fun- I could probably make a good chunk of money. Nothing compared to my mom though, so I’ll have to let her know about Pokerseeker as well! If you’re looking for any poker needs, be sure to check out Pokerseeker!

Time Well Spent

Posted on: December 29, 2011 at 12:01 am. 2 comments

If I hadn’t started watching How I Met Your Mother, I’m not sure what I would spend my time doing this break. Since I finished school, I have barely worked so all of my time goes into watching HIMYM and hanging out with my friends- today I went shopping (to three different malls, fail.. bought 2 dresses) and then went out for dinner as well. Tumblr hasn’t even been working for me, so I find myself looking up hilarious duckface pictures or Photoshop Fails, because both are things that oddly bring hours of entertainment.

This is definitely my slack break. I’m hoping that in the summer, I’ll have a different job – or at least get more hours at mine, like I did last summer. Otherwise, my time will be spent looking at funny autocorrect fails. But that wouldn’t be time I regretted… at all.

Excuse my french…

but where the hell did this year go? There’s already less than two weeks until Christmas. Maybe it’s the awesome weather that we’ve been getting here (almost no snow at all, and temperatures still above 0. Yes, I am taking full advantage of it and still wearing dresses) but it does NOT feel like Christmas is coming. And because of that, I’m never in a Christmas-ey mood. Not the music, or the crowded malls, nothing. I just want to keep the warm(er) weather, damnit.

With that being said, Christmas Shipping Deadlines are creeping up quickly. Everyone and their mom will be ordering things from online around this time, last minute gifts or maybe things they wanted but couldn’t find in a store. If you’re a little behind on your Christmas shopping, check out Amazon.com Coupons for cheaper, faster shipping. You still have time, as many of the coupons are good up until the 22nd- but it’s better to be safe than sorry, so I’d hurry up and get on those online orders.

I only have a few more people to buy for, but I am definitely aware of the Shipping Deadlines for Christmas 2011 as Christmas has certainly just snuck up on me this year. It seems like just yesterday I was ringing in the new year, and now here I am.. at Christmas again.

Nikon vs. Canon

Posted on: October 16, 2011 at 11:14 pm. 1 comment

Photography has always been a big thing in my family. Both my grandpa and uncle have a Canon camera, while my sister and myself have Nikon’s. There are always battles as to which one is better, who has the longer zoom lens, etc. While I have a Nikon now, when I was looking into which DSLR to buy I considered the Canon Rebel. I would one day (when I’m rich, ha) like to get a Canon as well and widen my photography horizons. Maybe use a Canon for more advanced and professional type of photography, and have both brands so I can get virtually any lens I want.

Do you have a preferred camera brand? Is there one from Canon that you want to get?
